“Mutton with coconut milk” is so much popular in Khulna division of Bangladesh. Bangladeshi style mutton curry cooked with coconut milk .
Ingredients
- 01 kg. mutton
- 100 g. slice onion
- 01 tbsp. ginger paste
- 01 tbsp. garlic paste
- 02 tbsp. peanut paste
- 01 tsp. turmeric powder
- 01 cup coconut milk
- 01 tsp. cumin powder
- 01 tsp garlic paste
- 01 pcs bay leaf
- 02 pcs dry red chili
- 2-3 pcs green chili
- 01 inch cinnamon sticks
- 04 pcs cardamom
- 4-5 pcs cloves
- 8-9 pcs black pepper corn
- 01 tsp. mixed hot spices powder
- Salt as per taste
- Oil for cooking
For marination
- 01 tbsp. garlic paste
- 01 tsp. ginger paste
- 01 tsp. turmeric powder
- 01 tsp. cumin powder
- 01 tbsp. salt
Method
Marinate the mutton meat with salt, ginger paste, garlic paste, peanut paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, mixed hot spices powder, chili powder, oil then keep it rest for about 01 hours.
Make the pan medium high heat then, dry red chili, bay leaf, cumin seeds, cardamom, cinnamon stick, black pepper corn, cloves, and wait for tempered then add oil and marinated mutton, stir continue …
Add 01 cup hot water then cover with a lid and cook on medium heat until mutton meat will cooked. When mutton will cooked add coconut milk and green chili then reduce heat on simmering point and cover by lid for about 10 minutes. Remove the lid and enjoy its flavor, test with any rice dish or roti
