Liliana Valdivia: A Culinary Journey
Early Life and Education Born in Piura, in northern Peru, Liliana Valdivia grew up just two hours outside the capital city of Lima. Her passion for the culinary arts ignited at a young age; she spent her childhood immersed in cooking shows, collecting recipes, and studying cookbooks. While her mother was at work, Liliana took charge of the family kitchen, honing the skills that would define her career. She later formalized her passion by studying culinary arts in Peru.
International Expansion Twenty years ago, Liliana moved to Argentina to further her expertise, where she spent three years studying gastronomy. Her academic excellence earned her a prestigious scholarship for being the top student in her class.
Professional Highlights Liliana’s career is marked by high-profile roles and international recognition:
- Private Chef: Served as an exclusive chef for prominent Argentine television personalities.
- Diplomatic & Hospitality Work: Gained extensive experience working in luxury hotels and serving at the Peruvian Embassy.
- Media Presence: Became a familiar face on television with guest appearances on programs such as Argentine Chefs, Crónica TV, and as a celebrity judge on Dish Pass.
- International Diplomacy: Represented her craft at various International Congresses and currently serves as a member of the Fuego del Continente Federation.
Recent Endeavors Last year, Liliana’s journey took her to Mexico, where she appeared on Televisa. During her appearance, she performed a live ceviche demonstration to honor the 40th anniversary of Cecaty 105, a school in Matamoros.
Today, Liliana balances her vibrant professional career with her role as a mother of three.
